The “Healthy Campus Program”, planned by the Sports Coordinatorship of Izmir University of Economics Health, Culture and Sports Directorate, aims to create healthier and ergonomic opportunities for everyone on the university campus during the day and encourages a more active life.

Chair Exercises:

Long periods of sedentary work at a desk in a fixed position have a negative impact on blood circulation, causing stiffness, numbness and tingling in the back and neck muscles. This can lead to major health problems that can cause blood clots in the veins. You can improve blood circulation and prevent pain and dysfunction with simple exercises. You can welcome a healthy life by practicing the "Chair Exercises" prepared by the academics of Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, Izmir University of Economics.

Breathing Exercises:

Slow and rhythmic breathing balances the flow of oxygen in the body. With simple exercises to support your breathing, you can strengthen your respiratory muscles while making your daily life easier.
